In 2008, I drew an image. I printed two runs of teeshirts with silver ink on black, and one with purple ink on black. These are the OG shirts. I sold them to other fans only, and didn’t want to make money on the design. Silly me.

The Cure have seen it. Tim Burton has seen it (and loved it). Fans worldwide have clamored for it, clearly.

This image has now been copied, modified, and printed on tens of thousands of items worldwide for nearly 20 years. I’ve never seen a penny of the resulting revenue.

I have also spent the past 18 chasing my design being printed by scammers and money chasers all over the world.
